HAT Forum - Secularism in Hollywood

  • The 519 519 Church Street Toronto, ON, M4Y 2C9 Canada (map)

There are more than a hundred films and TV shows in which some of the characters identify themselves as non religious.

What do you think is necessary from a film or TV show  to make their viewers to question their religious beliefs.?

Has anyone you know told you about experiencing religious doubts after watching a movie or TV show?

We have seen through the years since films and TV shows that religion is presented as a positive guide in people’s lives.

What do you think about the recently surge of movies and TV shows where secularism is another way of life?

Why do you think this is happening?

Do you think that the film industry has had an influence in the fact that less people in North America are going to church and more people identify themselves as non believers?
