HAT Forum - Indigenous Reconciliation

  • The 519 519 Church Street Toronto, ON, M4Y 2C9 Canada (map)

Proposer - Michelle Edmunds

Location: 519 Church St.

Discussion: A look at Canadian Indigenous current issues, demands and reconciliation.

Questions to consider:

1) Should Ryerson University consider changing its name to accommodate a Native perspective and history?

2) Given Canada's history with the Native population, Is celebrating Canada Day problematic for non-Natives?

3) What are some ways to approach Native reconciliation/resolution?
