Note to non-Canadian participants: Some questions ask about voting intentions and patterns. Feel free to contribute hypothetically if you wish, e.g. "If I were Canadian ..." Or if you prefer, skip those questions and feel free to comment on others. Also, if there is anything about Canadian politics that you do not understand, feel free to ask during the discussion. Several of us would happily explain to the best of our ability.
1. What are the most important issues of the election to you? How does that contrast with past elections?
2. Is your vote typically determined more by your attitudes toward the parties, their leaders, or local candidates? Is this election any different?
3. Whom do you plan to vote for, and why?
4. Regardless of your political leaning, what will be the most important actions that you would recommend to the new government for the first few months of the new parliament?
Remember: election day is April 28. The advance polls are open from April 18-21.
