The ancient Chinese philosopher, Lao Zi, was active around 500 BCE. He leaves behind in the Book of Lao Zi, also known as Dao De Jing (Tao Te Ching), a very early recorded view of the atheist origin of the universe. Wei Djao's HAT talk is about that view, and its significance over the centuries to the present. It is still relevant for people of all cultures.
Wei Djao is a long-time member of HAT and scholar of Chinese Philosophy. The second edition of her book A Humanist Path: Confucius and Lao Zi for Today was published by Ginger Post World Inc. on August 15, 2022, in paperback and eKindle formats. Available at Amazon.ca, Amazon.com, and other Amazon marketplaces.
